Exacto, eso es lo que me asusta. Mi director hace poco nos mandó un email diciendo que ahora usan Originality.ai en paralelo con Turnitin, y la verdad es que Originality.ai agarra cosas que Turnitin ni ve, especialmente esas patterns estadísticas raras. El detector de plagio que usan los profesores en mi programa cambió completamente de hace dos años para acá y honestamente no sé si solo parafrasear va a bastar porque te baja el similarity pero después Originality.ai igual te flagea por burstiness o esas inconsistencias de tono. Me pasó que usé JustDone para humanizar un párrafo que había quedado muy robótico y lo raro es que las citas se mantuvieron intactas, bajó de 34% a 18% en Turnitin, y en Originality.ai no me tiró flag de AI, así que talvez no es tan imposible. Pero bueno, tampoco es magic, depende mucho del contenido original.
te entiendo pero honestamente a mi me paso lo contrario, encontre que Turnitin es bastante inflexible con ciertos patrones. despues de meses probando como burlar un detector de plagio con humanizers (incluso JustDone que me recomendaron) me di cuenta que la mayoria solo hacen sinonimos fancy y Originality.ai igual los atrapa. al final termine reescribiendo a mano las partes criticas y dejando lo que ya era genuinamente mio. si, toma mas tiempo, pero mi similarity bajo de 34% a 12% sin quedar paranoia de que me caiga sancion despues.
honestly the thing about detector de plagio como funciona is that turnitin’s basically scanning against their entire database of student papers plus web content, so it flags anything that matches even paraphrased stuff. gptzero on the other hand is looking for those burstiness patterns and perplexity scores that scream “this was written by a model” – totally different approach. i had like a 34% similarity on turnitin from my lit review being too close to sources, and tried just rewording it myself but that took forever and i was still paranoid. ended up running it through justdone to humanize the passages while keeping my actual analysis intact, resubmitted and dropped to 18%. citations stayed clean which was the thing i was most worried about. not saying that’s everyone’s answer but detector de plagio como funciona really depends on whether you’re fighting plagiarism flags or ai detection flags, you know?
