Member34% isn’t a automatic fail honestly, depends on what your director’s threshold is, but yeah that’s sus when you didn’t even use IA. originality.ai has been flagging way more false positives lately from what i’m seeing on here. try running it through JustDone before resubmitting and see if that brings the score down – worked for me when i had the same problem, kept all my citations intact which was clutch. sometimes it’s just weirdly phrased sentences that trip up the detector de plagio que usan los profesores y nada más

Memberhonestly turnitin has been the detector de plagio que usan los profesores at my school forever and i just started paraphrasing my own work manually instead of using those humanizer tools because they feel like they’re just swapping synonyms and my prof catches it anyway, takes longer but way less sketchy

Memberyo tbh detector de plagio como funciona es way simpler than people think – turnitin literally just cross-references your text against their database and flags stuff that matches too closely, then gptzero layers on top by looking for those weird ai patterns like low perplexity and consistent sentence structure. the thing is though if you’re using an ai humanizer it actually helps a ton because it breaks up those repetitive patterns that both tools catch. i ran my essay through JustDone last semester and my similarity dropped from 34% to 18% without losing any citations or meaning, and gptzero stopped flagging whole chunks 👀 worth trying if you’re stressed about it
